The Store is where you spend credits on the handful of services that ore, crystal and hydrogen cannot buy. It sits under the More menu at the top of the screen. If you use it a lot you can move it out into the main nav bar from the Navigation section of Settings.
Everything here is paid for in credits and takes effect the moment you buy it. Credits belong to one universe, so what you see in the Store is the balance for the universe you are playing in.
Five things are for sale.
Lucky Draw Token
5,000 credits per token. One token is one spin on the Lucky Draw board, which pays out resources, ships, credits and more tokens. You already get one free token a day for logging in. This is how you buy extra ones. Buy Token opens a small window where you set the quantity and see the total before you confirm.
Trade Merchant
5,000 credits per trade. The Trade Merchant swaps one resource for another on the planet you have selected. The rates are fixed and never move: ore counts as 1, crystal as 1.5 and hydrogen as 2.5. So 2,500 ore buys 1,000 hydrogen, and the rate is the same going back the other way.
Hire Merchant opens the same window as the green Trade link under your resource totals, which is on every page in the game.
Move Planet
250,000 credits, plus another 250,000 for every galaxy of distance. Moving within your own galaxy costs 250,000. One galaxy over is 500,000, two galaxies over is 750,000, and so on. Pick the planet, type the coordinates you want, and the window prices the move before you confirm it.
Nothing is lost in the move. The planet keeps its fields, its temperature, its buildings and everything stored on it, and it keeps its name. If the planet has a moon in the same slot, the moon goes with it.
The move is blocked while any of these are true:
- The destination is not an empty slot in the same universe. Secret mission systems are off limits.
- You picked a moon. Only planets can be moved, and a moon cannot be moved on its own.
- The planet has ships stationed on it, fleets out, missions running, or fleets or missiles on the way in. The same checks run against the moon in its slot.
- The planet is still in the cooldown from an earlier move.
After the move the planet sits in a 24 hour cooldown. During it the planet cannot attack, spy, group defend, launch missiles or start missions, and the only fleet it can send is a harvest. Harvest fleets are allowed out but come home empty, so a planet that just moved cannot clear a debris field. A moon in the same slot shares the cooldown.
Terraform
5,000 to 60,000 credits. Terraform adds 5 fields to the planet you have selected. See the Terraform page for the detail. The price depends on how big the planet already is:
| Fields on the planet | Cost for +5 fields |
|---|---|
| Under 100 | 5,000 |
| 100 to 149 | 7,500 |
| 150 to 199 | 10,000 |
| 200 to 249 | 15,000 |
| 250 to 299 | 30,000 |
| 300 to 319 | 60,000 |
320 fields is the hard cap. Once a planet reaches it the card says so and the button goes dead. Moons, Hephaestus platforms and encounter planets cannot be terraformed at all, so switch to a real planet first or the card reads Unavailable.
PVE Mode
15,000 credits for 1 day, 60,000 for 7 days, 160,000 for 30 days. PVE Mode switches off player versus player combat in both directions. While it runs, no other player can attack you, spy on you or fire missiles at you, and you cannot do any of those things to them either. NPC encounters and secret missions are not affected, so you can keep farming.
Buying again while it is already running adds the time onto the end instead of starting over. End PVE Mode stops it early, and you lose whatever time was left.
Not in the Store
- Renaming your commander costs 20,000 credits, but it is done on the Settings page under Profile, not here.
- The Alliance Store is a separate thing. It lives inside the Alliances page and is paid for with alliance points earned from Incursions, not with credits.
Comments
This page mentions the Alliance Store. Will there be a page for that? In particular I'm looking for where I can find the costs of the progressive speedups. I found a forum post that gives them but it's hard to find again. "Research Relay runs 30 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 200 / 300 / 400 across its levels, so level 2 is 50. Lunar Dockyard uses the same ladder, and Repair Dock steps 30 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 200."
