Lucky Draw is a daily spin for resources, ships and more tokens. It lives under Get Lucky in the top menu, and the number next to it is how many tokens you are holding. Every draw costs one token, and you get one free every day just for logging in.
How a draw works
The board holds 16 cards pulled at random from the reward pool. Press Roll and the game picks two of those 16 and turns them face down. Pick either one and you keep what is under it.
- You always win something. There are no blanks and no losing cards.
- The two cards are always different squares, but the same reward can sit on the board more than once, so both cards can hide the same thing.
- The card you did not take is never shown.
- The board reshuffles after every draw. The 16 cards you are looking at now will not be the 16 you see next time.
Skip animations
The tick box under the Roll button turns the spin off. With it on, the game rolls, picks one of the two cards for you at random, and prints what you won in a small line at the top of the panel. It is the same draw either way, just faster. The setting sticks until you turn it off again.
Rolling more than one token
The number box next to Roll spends more than one token on a single draw. This does not give you a reward per token. It multiplies the one reward you land on. Roll 5 tokens onto a 2,000 Ore card and you get 10,000 Ore, not five separate prizes.
Ships and token cards scale the same way. Two tokens on a Zagreus card is 2 Zagreus. Five tokens on a "3 Tokens" card hands back 15 tokens.
You can put up to 100 tokens on one draw. Rolling a big stack does not improve your odds, it only scales whatever you happen to land on, so it cuts both ways.
Where tokens come from
| Source | Tokens |
|---|---|
| Daily bonus | 1 per day |
| Daily quests | 1 each, 2 quests a day |
| Invited friends | 1 a week per friend who keeps playing |
| Buying | 5,000 credits each |
- Daily bonus. One token, handed over the first time you load any game page after 00:00 game time. That is the clock in the top bar. You do not have to open the Lucky Draw page to collect it.
- Daily quests. Two of the daily quests rotate in each day and both pay a token on top of their resource reward.
- Invited friends. Paid out every Sunday. You get a token for each person you invited who has been playing regularly, as long as you have been playing regularly too.
- Buying. 5,000 credits a token from the Buy Tokens button or the Store. You can buy up to 10,000 in one go.
What is on the board
Three things turn up: resources, ships and more tokens.
| Reward | Chance |
|---|---|
| Ore | 28.5% |
| Ships | 27.6% |
| Crystal | 22.8% |
| Hydrogen | 19.0% |
| Tokens | 2.2% |
Those are the numbers with every ship unlocked. Ships you cannot build yet are taken out of the pool, so a newer player sees more resources and fewer ships. Running on the starting ships alone it is roughly 35% ore, 28% crystal, 24% hydrogen, 10% ships and 3% tokens.
Resource cards come in three sizes. Before the tier multiplier below they are worth 100, 500 or 5,000, and the small one turns up four times as often as the big one.
| Card | Ore | Crystal | Hydrogen |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | 16.3% | 13.0% | 10.9% |
| 500 | 8.1% | 6.5% | 5.4% |
| 5,000 | 4.1% | 3.3% | 2.7% |
Token cards are 3 Tokens (1.4%) and 5 Tokens (0.8%). There is no single-token card, so a token card always puts you ahead.
Ships
Only ships you have already unlocked can show up. The check runs across all your planets, so unlocking a ship on any one of them puts it in the pool everywhere. Unlocking more ship types is the one thing that genuinely changes your board: it lifts ships from about 10% of the pool to nearly 28%.
Every ship has a 1x, 3x and 5x card. With the lot unlocked:
| Ship | Any | 1x | 3x | 5x |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hermes Class Probe | 2.76% | 1.80% | 0.60% | 0.36% |
| Zagreus Class Recycler | 2.76% | 1.80% | 0.60% | 0.36% |
| Atlas Class Cargo | 2.76% | 1.80% | 0.60% | 0.36% |
| Apollo Class Fighter | 2.76% | 1.80% | 0.60% | 0.36% |
| Artemis Class Fighter | 2.07% | 1.35% | 0.45% | 0.27% |
| Dionysus Class Recycler | 2.07% | 1.35% | 0.45% | 0.27% |
| Hercules Class Cargo | 2.07% | 1.35% | 0.45% | 0.27% |
| Carmanor Class Cargo | 2.07% | 1.35% | 0.45% | 0.27% |
| Ares Class Bomber | 2.07% | 1.35% | 0.45% | 0.27% |
| Poseidon Class Cruiser | 2.07% | 1.35% | 0.45% | 0.27% |
| Prometheus Class Destroyer | 1.37% | 0.90% | 0.30% | 0.18% |
| Hades Class Battleship | 1.37% | 0.90% | 0.30% | 0.18% |
| Shadow Probe | 0.46% | 0.30% | 0.10% | 0.06% |
| Athena Class Battleship | 0.46% | 0.30% | 0.10% | 0.06% |
| Zeus Class | 0.46% | 0.30% | 0.10% | 0.06% |
Ships arrive built and parked on the planet you have selected, and they count towards ship-building quests exactly like ones you paid for.
RSP tiers
Resource cards are multiplied by a tier taken from your Resources Spent score on the leaderboard. Ships and token cards are not multiplied, so the tier only ever moves your ore, crystal and hydrogen.
| Tier | RSP | Multiplier | 100 card | 500 card | 5,000 card |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 to 100 | x1 | 100 | 500 | 5,000 |
| 2 | 101 to 500 | x2 | 200 | 1,000 | 10,000 |
| 3 | 501 to 1,500 | x5 | 500 | 2,500 | 25,000 |
| 4 | 1,501 to 15,000 | x20 | 2,000 | 10,000 | 100,000 |
| 5 | over 15,000 | x40 | 4,000 | 20,000 | 200,000 |
The board already shows the multiplied figure, so the number printed on a card is what you get. Your RSP comes off the leaderboard, which is rebuilt on the hour, so moving up a tier shows up at the top of the next hour rather than the second you spend.
Where the reward lands
- Resources and ships go to the planet you have selected when you pick the card, not to your homeworld. Check the planet bar before you draw.
- Tokens go straight to your token balance and are not tied to a planet.
- Resource wins ignore storage limits. A payout can push a planet well past what its storage holds and nothing is lost.
History
The history link under the board lists the last 48 hours of tokens in and rewards out, including which planet each win landed on.
Tips
- Switch to the planet you actually want the resources on before you draw.
- Unlock more ship types. It is the only thing that shifts the odds in your favour, and ships are the best card on the board at every tier.
- Do not sit on tokens hoping for better odds. A stack of 100 is the same draw as a stack of 1, only louder.
- Load a game page every day even if you are not playing. The daily token is free and it does not stack up if you miss days.
